How to see all posts
A number of people have found it difficult to see the whole blog. At the bottom of each page, there is a "newer post" and an "older post" link. just click on these to see more posts. There is also a list of pages by month in the left sidebar.

Miniature Japanese Ryokan
I feel really lucky to have gotten this house. It is from Japan, and is called a Ryokan, which is a Japanese Inn and Spa. It was originally sold as a subscription in Italy and Japan, and came in 110 packages. Each package is numbered, and they are assembled in order, until the house is completed. Here are a few photos I took when the kits came today. This is a photo from the center of the first instruction book showing the house closed. This one shows the house open.Sorry it's blurry, it's dark, and my cellphone didn't do a very good job. These are some of the kits. To see a beautifully built version of this house, you can visit my online friend Peggy's blog.

ReplyDeleteI just hope my house comes out as well as yours did. I don't think I would have attempted this if I hadn't seen your blog!
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for this kit. Can it be bought all at once and is it hard to get ? How's the quality ?? Please email me is possible, very interested. tonphil1960@aol.com
ReplyDeleteI sent you an email Tony. But as I said in the email, they are really rare, especially as a whole kit.
DeleteIf it's still available I'd love it.
DeleteFingers crossed,
Lynda
Hi Lynda, It hasn't been available for years. I was just very lucky to get mine. This was probably the most amazing kit I have ever seen.
DeleteI want this dollhouse. Is there any others like this
ReplyDeleteThese appear to be very rare. I think you will just have to keep looking for one on the internet. There don't even seem to be very many that have ever been built.
